Developed in close collaboration with the client, and former karting champion, Ben Lambie, GP Racing Simulators represents a state-of-the-art racing simulator centre in East Kilbride.

The facility transforms a vacant warehouse into an immersive, dynamic and welcoming venue. Featuring advanced technology like the only FIA-licensed haptic system and cutting-edge VR headsets, the centre caters to all levels of motorsport enthusiasts.

This adaptive reuse of the warehouse utilises lightweight timber construction, as well as repurposed materials like the glazed entrance doors to deliver the facility with sustainability at the fore. Bespoke furniture and a vibrant red and black colour scheme provide a premium and high-energy atmosphere, while accessible provisions at the bar and simulators ensure a fully inclusive environment.  

One feature that clearly captures the spirit of the venue is the bespoke suspended racetrack light. Shaped like a Formula 1 racing track with distinct lanes of lights chasing each other, the light enhances the overall aesthetic and reinforces the venue’s motorsport theme. Through this, and other interventions, the venue offers a unique racing experience while reflecting the competitive spirit of motorsport.
