Holmes Miller was architect and lead designer working with contractor O’Hare & McGovern on the design and delivery of the Olympia Leisure Centre in Belfast for our Client, Belfast City Council. With a strong focus on health and wellbeing, the new facility was designed to meet the needs of the local community in consultation with Belfast City Council and building operator, GLL.

A key element of the project was the interior design and high quality specification for the spa area suites, driven by the Client’s aspirations to provide a luxury health environment for customers.The completed facility also includes a 25m pool with movable floor, served by a wet side Changing Village, a multipurpose Sports Hall, Fitness Suites, Cafe, Dry side Changing, all weather sports pitches with associated external Changing facilities, Reception/foyer, and Staff/Management offices.
